Three Pillar Focus

The Bourbon Society is focused on three core areas. Bourbon, Education, and Philanthropy. At our very core, we have been chartered to represent the history, lore, and grandeur of one of the world’s favorite spirits – not to mention an unmistakable Kentucky tradition. Every decision we make is centered around the promotion of the industry of Bourbon.

Education is the quintessential piece of the development process. Our goal is to build better, more informed member and ultimately embolden those members to expand their collection to include a wide range of variants. Development is underway for a full complement of educational courses that are designed to take those that love the spirit from simply consumers to entrenched Bourbon connoisseurs. The curriculum is being crafted to incorporate coursework from beginner to Certified Bourbon Society Master. This pillar is being carefully created to work in tandem with our sensory collaboration partners. By intermingling coursework and events that encourage widening the breadth of our students (both member’s and non-member’s) preferred Bourbon preferences, we inevitably create valuable and loyal members and consumers.

Philanthropy is ingrained in our DNA since inception in 2006. Our charity focus has always been one that meets the needs of those that serve. Both those that serve in the food and beverage industry and those that serve and have served to protect our freedom. We strongly believe that Bourbon and philanthropy can synergize each other in very unique ways.
